VANLAGNAD
(in collaboration with Arne B. Langleite)
Galleri 69, Oslo
2007

A large-scale installation piece we created in 2007 saw a gallery in Oslo transformed into a fully functional living space. We recreated the house of a fictitious Norwegian poet. The show was an attempt at creating the absolute opposite of contemporary popular culture: The home of a traditional Romanticist poet and alcoholic, living by himself, far from any neighbours, who, – using an old, wonky typewriter, – churns out his lyrical observations of nature, animals and the vicissitudes of the weather.
